Microplastics with Den Fusso
What’s the Big Deal About Microplastics?
You have likely heard that the amount of microplastic in your brain is equal to that of a PLASTIC spoon, and that amount has DOUBLED from 2016 – 2024.
- What do scientists think are the implications of plastic in our brains?
- How did it get there?
- Do scientists know the primary source?
Come hear an overview on microplastics presented by our very own dedicated environmentalist, Den Fusso.
Most importantly, learn about things YOU CAN DO, to decrease the amount of plastic in Your Own Environment. Den will be sharing information on this timely topic. Her goal is that you leave this presentation with the tools for a Personal Action Plan, and a renewed sense of hope.
Please join us at 5:30 PM for social time and refreshments. The meeting portion of our program will begin at 6 PM.
Q&A Session will follow the presentation, and questions can be submitted in advance by emailing: admin@southwashoedems.org.
