Data Centers Panel Discussion

Data Centers are being planned all over our country, including in our own back yard. This presents a unique challenge to us in one of the driest states in our country. What purpose do they serve? Who do they serve? What environmental challenges do they pose? How will we provide the massive amounts of power and water they will require? And at what cost to Nevadans? 

Join us for this very important conversation on this controversial topic. We will have a panel of representatives from Reno, Washoe County, Nevada and the Sierra Club to discuss the issue in a substantive, thoughtful discussion of current information, concerns, future plans of each entity, suggestions for solutions, and so on. Panelists include:

• Heather Goulding, NV State Assemblymember, District 27
• Allison Hartman, Independent Investigative Media Journalist
• Olivia Tanager, Sierra Club, Toiyabe Chapter Director

Please join us at 5:30 PM for social time and refreshments. The meeting portion of our program will begin at 6 PM.
