Washoe County School Board: What’s Happening Now and a Look Ahead to the June Primary Election
Please join us for our April meeting at the South Valleys Library featuring a Washoe County School Board (WCSB) Trustee and a trustee candidate for our District A.
As we are well aware, school boards across the country have been very controversial spaces highlighting ideological differences as of late. We have not been spared by this division in Washoe County. We will be joined by current WCSB Trustee Adam Mayberry in District F who will be able to share with us all of the recent developments on the WCSB.
We will also hear from Christine Hull who is a life-long educator, community volunteer, and mother of three. She is a candidate for Washoe County School Board Trustee in District A and is challenging incumbent Jeff Church in the June primary election. This seat is crucial to win so that our interests in South Reno are represented on the WCSB. Come learn more about Christine and how we can help her race!
Please join us at 5:30 p.m. on April 8th for social time and refreshments. The meeting portion of our program will begin at 6 p.m.
